Question:  FAQ:How do you secure remote control?

Answer:  Remote control can only be accessed from within the portal, AES 128-bit encryption is used for privacy over the Internet, and all sessions are logged to an audit trail. Go to Remote > Audit Trail > Remote Audit Trail to view a report.

Only logged in specialists can access the remote control function on the target system. When a system is actively being remote controlled the CSC (Customer Support Center) icon displayed in the system tray will flash.

You can control specialist access within the portal using roles and by activating impersonation on the MicroAgent.
