- Ready to install agent
- Agent is running
- The agent is being installed on the endpoint
- Error connecting to d:\ on system name
- No response from system name (system IP address)
- Windows 95/98/ME, non-Windows OS or access is blocked
- Unable to resolve IP address for hostname system name
- Access denied querying agent service status
- Access denied attempting to connect to registry key
- Agent is not running or access is blocked
In very rare instances, we have seen this message:
Error 299: Only part of a ReadProcessMemory or WriteProcessMemory request was completed when attempting to start the service
In this case, manually uninstall the agent.
Then, delete the MA string under hklm/system/currentcontrolset/services
Now, manually install the agent.
